This contemporary new build in Auckland's Point Chevelier makes a bold statement both inside and out
Lighthouse consultants were tasked with designing and implementing a lighting plan to showcase the home's features in addition to general illumination and task lighting.
The main living space was fitted with feature lighting that worked in with the modern black cabinetry. A gloss black pendant from LEDS-C4 was chosen to hang over the kitchen island to complete the look. The owner's artwork was lit using the Half from LEDS-C4 which perfectly created focus points around the room as well as ambiance. Lights were built into the individual steps of the staircase to tie in with the modern lighting aesthetic.
The outside lighting was created to be subtle as well as functional and blend in with the exterior cladding. To create a wide throw of light, the Afrodita from LEDS-C4 was chosen with the effect of providing effective, but not overpowering light to the outdoor area.
