The entry to one of New Zealand’s largest private hospitals has become an experience to be enjoyed. Lighthouse worked in collaboration with the architect to engineer the largest custom fitting the company has ever supplied. The design team at Lighthouse were heavily involved from conceptual stages right through to completion of the manufacturing process. Trengrove Architects Ltd wanted to create a truly unique piece of art that did justice to the large volume of space and become a focal point of the main entry of St George’s Hospital.
The rendered drawings, as seen featured in this case study, gave the skilful fabricators what they needed to apply themselves to the challenge. Careful communication throughout the process with appropriate personnel allowed for a very high standard of finish to be achieved.
