As an iconic Christchurch landmark, the Isaac Theatre Royal was an inspiring project for Lighthouse to be a part of. The design brief involved discussion around the history of this remarkable building and what it has endured. The structure survived the extensive damages of both the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. Lighthouse consultants were asked to keep within parameters of suggested fitting styles as guided by the architect and electrical engineer.

In keeping with the Edwardian architecture, there were a number of custom designs that were completed in close partnership with the team at LEDS-C4. The most significant success was the engineering of the chandeliers, large and small, from architectural drawings. These chandeliers, play a very important part in achieving the desired look and feel of this sophisticated space.
